Vor den Osterferien ging das Projekt Presentations about Wild Animals in den Klassen 4 erfolgreich zu Ende. Dazu haben die Kinder im Englischunterricht ein selbstgewähltes wildes Tier recherchiert, eine kleine Präsentation auf Englisch vorbereitet, ein Plakat erstellt, ihre Präsentation geübt und vorgetragen. Lest selbst einige tolle Ergebnisse:

 

Im Voraus schrieben Susanna, Chiara und Melissa (Kl. 4a):

 

„In der 4. Klasse haben wir ein Referat über wilde Tiere auf Englisch gehalten. Das war ganz schön schwer, denn alle Informationen sollten wir auf Englisch vortragen. Susanna hat ein Referat über das Maus-Wiesel, Chiara über den Gorilla und Melissa über den Wolf gehalten.

Wir haben als erstes uns gegenseitig zugehört und dann sollten die zwei anderen auf Englisch das Referat bewerten. Das war lustig!

Wie der Vortrag wird, wissen wir noch nicht, aber wir drücken die Daumen…“

 

Chirag und Pablo (Kl. 4b):

Name: Puma

Food:         his food is chipmunks, small insects, monkeys and mice

Features:  - it has short fur

                - it can get 97cm long

                - it weighs 72kg

                - its colour is brown

                - it can get 18 to 20 years old

Habitat :     he lives near the equator

 

Elisa und Mia (Kl. 4a):

Our favourite wild animal is the fennec fox.

It can get 10 years old.

The fur is gold & brown.

The animal lives in the desert.

It eats lizards and drinks water.

It can run.

Our animal is special because it is smaller than a cat. And the ears are long.

 

Tim und Eladan (Kl. 4b):

Our favorite wild animal is the tiger.

The tiger is orange and white with black stripes. The tiger can get four meters long and weighs 300 kg.

The tiger eats meat and lives in South and East Asia and East Siberia. The predators are men.

Our favourite wild animal is special because there are only six thousand tigers left.

 

Susanna (Kl. 4a):

The name of my wild animal is the mouse weasel.

The body length is 13 up to 26 cm. The tail can get 2 up to 8 cm. The animal weighs 25 up to 250 g.

It has a thin and small body. The fur is brown. Its belly is white and the tail is black at the end.

The mouse weasel’s food is mouse-like rodents (mice, hamsters and others).

Its predators are owls and foxes and it lives in Eurasia.

Characteristics are: It is nocturnal (nachtaktiv) and diurnal (tagaktiv). Its fur colour is brown in summer and white in winter.
